This unit also comes with built-in Ni-MH rechargeable batteries, which serve as auxiliary backup power for the AM-FM Emergency Weather Radio and LED Emergency Light (only). This Backup Power System can be recharged using the 120 Volt AC or 12 Volt DC Power Adapters, or, in emergency situations when no other power is available, by using the Dynamo Hand-Crank.

1.Nine (9) dry cell “C” type batteries (not included);

2.120 volt AC 60 Hz household current and the 120 Volt AC Adapter included with the unit; or

3.12 volt DC power source and the 12 Volt DC Adapter included with the unit.
