To automatically lock your phone when you turn it off:

1Press the Center Select key (s) to open the menu.

2Use the Directional key (S) to scroll to

Ú Settings & Tools and press the Center Select key (s) (OK).

3Scroll to Phone Settings and press the Center Select key (s) (OK).

4Scroll to Security and press the Center Select key (s) (OK).

5When prompted, enter the lock code and press the Center Select key (s) (OK).

6Scroll to Phone Lock and press the Center Select key (s) (OK).

7Scroll to On Power Up and press the Center Select key (s) (OK).

To unlock the phone, enter the four-digit lock code in the Enter Lock Code entry area and press the Center Select key (s) (OK).

TTY operation

You can use an optional teletypewriter (TTY) device with your phone to send and receive calls. You must plug the TTY device into the phone’s headset connector and set the phone to operate in one of three TTY modes.
