TTY Llena: Los usuarios que no pueden hablar ni oír envían y reciben mensajes de texto por medio de un equipo de TTY.

TTY + Charla: Los usuarios que pueden hablar pero no oír reciben un mensaje de texto y envían voz por medio de un equipo de TTY.

TTY + Oír: Los usuarios que pueden oír pero no hablar envían un mensaje de texto y reciben voz por medio de un equipo de TTY.

TTY Apagada: Los usuarios envían y reciben sin tener equipo TTY.

Conexión de un equipo TTY y un terminal

1.Conecte un cable de TTY a la conexión TTY del terminal (Conexión TTY situada en el mismo sito que el conector para audífonos de manos libres).

2.Entre al menú del teléfono y ajuste el modo de TTY deseado.

3.Después de establecer un modo de TTY, compruebe la pantalla de LCD del teléfono para confirmar que esté presente el icono de TTY.

4.Conecte el equipo de TTY a la fuente de alimentación y enciéndalo.

5.Haga una conexión de teléfono al número deseado.

6.Al establecerse la conexión, use el equipo TTY para escribir y enviar un mensaje de texto o enviar voz.

7.El mensaje de voz o de texto del lado del destinatario se muestra en la pantalla del equipo TTY.
