To “hang up,” close the slider or press the Power/End key (O).

Tip: You can make a call with the slider closed. Select a contact, then press the Send key (N) to call the number, or press the Send key (N) to display the All Calls list, then select the number you want to call and press the Send key (N) again.

To make a call outside the U.S.A., press and hold

*until you see +. Then, press number keys to dial

the country code and phone number, and press the Send key (N).

To make an international call, press and hold *to insert your local international access code, indicated by + (see page 52 to set up your preferred international call prefix). Then, press number keys to dial the country code and phone number.

answer a call

When your phone rings and/or vibrates, just open the slider or press the Send key (N) to answer.

To “hang up,” press the Power/End key (O).

store a phone number

You can store a phone number in Contacts:

1Use the keypad to enter a phone number in the

main screen and press the left soft key (-) (Save).

2Select Create New Contact by pressing the center select key (s) (OK).

3Use the navigation key (S) to scroll to a type of entry and press the center select key (s) (OK).

4Use the keypad to enter a name and other details

for the phone number and press the center select key (s) (Save) to store the number.
