Setting the Timing Mode

Setting the timing mode is important for maximizing the quality of the screen
image and minimizing eye strain. The timing mode consists of the resolut ion
(example 1600x 1200) and refre sh rate (or vertical frequency--example60
Hz). After setting the timing mode, use the OnView®controls(pages 8 - 10) to
adjust the screen image.
The recommended timing mode fort his ViewPanelis: VESA®1600 x 1200 @ 60
Hz
Toset the Timing Mode:
1Set the resolution: Right-click on the Windows®desktop > Properties >
Settings > Desktop Area or Screen Area for Windows 98 and newer > set
the resolution.
2Set the refresh rate: See your graphic card's user guidefor instructions.
WARNING:Do not set the graphics card in your computer to exceedthe
maximum refresh rate of 75Hz;doing so may result in permanent damage to
your ViewPanel.

OSD Lock Settings

•OSDL ock:P ressand hold [1] and the up arrow ▲for 10 seconds. A message
appears onscreen sayingthat the OSD is locked. If any buttons are pressed
the message OSD Locked displays for a fewseconds.
•OSD Unlock: Press and hold[1] and the up arrow ▲again for 10 seconds. A
message appears onscreen saying that the OSD is locked.
