Insert the filter cartridge into circular opening in filter housing. Move the filter cartridge horizontally until the filter head is engaged. Rotate gently clockwise until the filter stops. stops. Flush air from the system by running water through the dispenser continuously for three minutes. If water spurts occur, continue to run water until flow is steady. Additional flushing may be required in areas with poor water quality.

When to Change the Water Filter

Your water filter provides a cleaner ice and water supply by filtering bad tastes, odors, sediment and harmful contaminants. To ensure proper filtration, the water filter cartridge should be changed every nine months or after 750 gallons of water are used, whichever comes first.

IMPORTANT: The condition of water and amount used determines the life span of your water filter cartridge. If water use is high, or if water is of poor quality, you may have to replace the cartridge more frequently.
