2.8.1 Pairing Procedure 1.  Turn on the HDTV using the remote control. 
2.  Press the MENU button on the remote to activate the 
On Screen Display (OSD) which will display the 
Picture menu. 
3.  Press the      button once and then press the OK 
button to change to the Audio menu. 
4.  Make sure the Speakers and Wireless Speakers 
selections are both On.  If not, use the         and                         
buttons to correctly set them to On.  (See Chapter 4 on 
how to navigate the OSD.) 
5.  Place the sub-woofer 10 ~ 12 feet away from the TV, preferably with the front, (the side with 
the large round hole near the top), facing the TV screen. 
6.  Turn-off the HDTV. 
7.  Plug the sub-woofer power cable into a wall socket and it will power on automatically and the 
power indicator light on the front will start flashing on and off*. 
8.  Press the CH-SEARCH, PAIRING button and while keeping is depressed turn on the HDTV 
using the remote. 
9.  When the power indicator light on the front of the sub-woofer stops flashing and remains on 
you have successfully paired the sub-woofer with the HDTV and you can release the button.  
If the sub-woofer power indicator light does not remain on then the Pairing Procedure was not 
successful and you must repeat steps 1 ~ 9. 
* When the HDTV is off the sub-woofer power indicator 
light will flash on and off at a slower rate to indicate 
that it is in Standby mode. 
NOTE:  If the wireless speaker system receives 
interference from other equipment you can try 
correcting it by turning the HDTV off and on so the 
wireless system will automatically scan for a clear 
wireless channel.  If this does not work you must locate 
the offending equipment turn it off or change the 
wireless channel it is using.
