SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS DO check periodically for a secure plug/outlet fit. If the plug does not fit snugly into the outlet or if the plug becomes very hot, the outlet may need to be replaced. Check with a qualified electrician to replace the outlet.

Manual background DO unplug the heater when not in use by pulling the plug straight out from the outlet. Inspect the heater’s cord periodically. DO NOT use a heater with a damaged cord. Return heater to Vornado for examination, electric or mechanical adjustment or repair.

Manual background This heater is equipped with a thermal safety shut-off system, designed to turn off the heater when an internal overheating condition is detected (see Resetting the Unit section under Safety Features for instruction on how to reset Heater).

Manual background This heater operates with a RF (Radio Frequency) remote control. Interference between this remote and other remote-control-operated electrical appliance in your home is possible.

Manual background This heater is for use on 120 volts. The cord has a plug as shown at A in the illustration below. If a grounding receptacle is not available, an adapter as shown at B is available for connecting three-blade grounding-type plugs to two-slot receptacles. The green grounding plug extending from the adapter must be connected to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box shown at B. The adapter should not be used if a three-slot grounded receptacle is available.
