Filter Replacement
To Clean Grill
1.Unplug the unit.
Note: Do not use gasoline, thinners, solvents or other chemicals for cleaning.
2.Use canned compressed air around the top outlet grill and side inlet grill, follow up using your brush attachment on your household vacuum cleaner to vacuum top outlet grill and side inlet grill. Wipe down the entire surface with a soft cloth.
Note: When reinstalling the Filters, Power Head and the Water Tanks, for proper operation, the Power Head, Base and Water Tanks must be properly aligned.
End Of Season Maintenance
1.Follow instructions at end of humidification season or when Humidifier will not be used for at least one week or more.
2.Let Humidifier dry completely before storing. Do not store with water inside Water Tanks or Base.
3.Remove and discard the Filters if it is not suitable for reuse. Do not store the Humidifier with wet Filters. If the Filters are suitable for future use, remove and empty water from the Base and Water Tank. Replace the Water Tanks, power unit On and select the HIGH Fan Speed. Allow the unit to run until the Filters are completely dry.
4.Store in cool, dry location.
The Filters may accumulate minerals and other impurities that occur naturally in any water supply. While your Humidifier came equipped with Filters, you will eventually have to replace them, as they last approximately
Replacing The Filters
1.Turn the unit Off and unplug.
2.Remove the Power Head and discard used Filters.
3.Install new genuine Vornado Filters by laying them at an angle along the open grill, inside of the base.
4.Replace the Power Head, making sure it's properly aligned. Your Humidifier is now ready for use.
