Answer an incoming call during an intercom call

When you receive an outside call during an intercom call, there is an alert tone.

To answer on a cordless handset:

•To answer the call, press . The intercom call ends automatically.

•To end the intercom call without answering the call, press OFF. The intercom call ends and the telephone continues to ring.

To answer at the telephone base:

•To answer the call, press /SPEAKER twice. The intercom call ends automatically.

•To end the intercom call without answering the call, press /SPEAKER. The intercom call ends and the telephone continue to ring.

Call transfer using intercom

Use the intercom feature to transfer an outside call from one device to another.

1.During a call, press INT.

•If you have one handset, the outside call is put on hold and your handset displays Calling base or the telephone base displays Calling HS 1.

•If you have two or more handsets, your handset/telephone base displays Intercom to/Intercom to: Press 7 for the telephone base or 1-5for HANDSET 1 to HANDSET 5. The outside call is put on hold and your device displays Calling base or Calling HS X.

The destination device rings and its screen displays HS X is calling or Base is calling.
