Telephone base and charger installation
Install the telephone base and charger as shown b elow.
Use only the power adapters and batteries supplied with this product. To order a

Even if you do not subscribe to any conventiona l telephone service, you ca n still
use the cell line alone without plug ging in a telephone line cord.
If you subscribe to telephone ser vice from a cable company or a VoIP ser vice
provider, contact your cable/VoIP ser vice provider for more infor mation.

Battery installation
Install the battery as shown below.
Slide the battery compartment
cover towards the center of the
handset until it clicks into place.
3. Place the handset in the telephone
base or charger to charge.

CHARGE light
remains on
when charging.
Plug the battery connector
securely into the socket.

THIS SIDE UP facing up and the wires
inside the battery compartment .

If the handset will not be used for a long tim e, disconnect and remove the b attery to
prevent possible leakage.

IMPORTANT:
Check for a dial tone by pressing /HOME. If you hear a dial tone, the installation
is successful.
If you do not hear a dial tone:
Make sure the installation procedures descr ibed above are properly done.
It may be a wiring problem. If you have changed your telephone ser vice to
digital service from a cable compa ny or a VoIP service provider, the telephone
line may need to be rewired to allow all existing telephone jacks to wo rk.
Contact your cable/VoIP service provid er for more information.
