Your VTech i 5871 system can operate up to eight handsets. To order additional handsets (model number i 5808), visit us on the web at www.vtechphones.com or call VTech Customer Service at
As you register additional handsets to the system, they will be assigned extension num- bers in the following order: HANDSET 2, HANDSET 3, etc.
Whenever charged handset batteries are installed, the handset will automatically begin Searching for Base... (if previously registered), or it will prompt you to register the new handset.
