Troubleshooting

My telephone does not
work at all.
Make sure the batter y is inst alled and charge d cor rectly (page 3). For optimu m dai ly
performance, return the h andset to the telephone base or charg er after use.
Make sure the power adapter is securel y plugged into an outlet not controll ed by a wall switch.
Make sure the telephone line cord is plugged rmly into the telephone base and the telephone
wall jack.
Unplug the electrical power to the tel ephone base. Wait for approxi mately 15 secon ds,
then plug it b ack in. Allow up to one minute for the cordless handset and telephone base t o
synchronize.
Charge the battery in the ha ndset for up to 16 hours.
Remove and re-insert the bat tery. If that still does not work, it may be necessar y to purchase
a new battery.
Disconnect the telephone base fro m the telephone wall jack and plug in a working telephone.
If the other telephone does not work, the problem is probably in the wiring or the local service.
Call the local telephone c ompany.
