Problem Suggestion
Caller ID entries do not
match the numbers I
need to dial.
Although the call log entries you receive have 10 digits, (the area c ode plus the s even-digit
number), in some areas, you may need to dial only the seven digits, or a 1 plus the seven digits,
or a 1 plus the area code plus the seven digits . You can change the number of digits that you
dial from or store in the call log.
While reviewing the c all log, press # repeatedly to display these dialing o ptions for local and
long distance numbers b efore dialing or saving the telephone nu mber.

telephone?
The handset may be out of range. Move it c loser to the telephone base.
Make sure the power cord is securely plugged into the telephone base. Use a working electrical
outlet that is not controlled by a wa ll switch.
Reset your telephone by unplugging t he power adapter from the telephone base. Discon nect
the battery from the cordles s handset. Wait for 15 seconds, th en plug in the power adapter
and re-install the battery. Place the handset in the telephone base and allow up to one minute
for the handset and telephone b ase to synchronize.
Other electronic products may prevent your handset and telephone base from communicating
with each other. Try installing your telephone base as far away from these electronic devices as
possible: wireless routers, radi os, radio towers, pager towers, cellular telephones, inter coms,
room monitors, televis ions, personal computer s, kit chen a ppliances and other cordless
telephones.
