NOTA: Underwriters Laboratories (U.L.) no requiere que todos los artefactos tengan cables de tier- ra. Estos artefactos cumplen con todas las especificaciones U.L.

ADVERTENCIA: Para artefactos marcados para uso en exteriores y para ubicación en lugares húmedos, selle herméticamente la unión entre el artefacto y la superficie de montaje usando sili- cona o algún material similar para enmasillado.

1.Desconecte el suministro eléctrico en la caja de fusibles para evitar la posibilidad de descarga eléctrica.

2.Coloque la placa de montaje (A) contra la caja de embutir (B) y asegúrela con los tornillos correspondientes (C) (no incluidos) (vea la Fig. 1).

3.Identifique el color de los cables de su artefacto (vea la Fig. 2).

4.Para conectar los cables, tome el cable negro del artefacto (grupo A de la Fig. 2) y colóquelo uniformemente contra el cable negro de la caja de embutir. No retuerza los cables.

5.Coloque un conector de rosca (D) sobre los cables y enrósquelo hasta que lo sienta firme. Si el conector para cables (D) se desprende fácilmente, vuelva a ajustar el conector y com pruebe una vez más que la conexión esté firme.

6.Repita los pasos 4 y 5 para conectar el cable blanco del artefacto (grupo B de la Fig. 2) y los cables de la caja de embutir.

7.Repita los pasos 4 y 5 para conectar el cable de tierra del artefacto y el de la caja de embutir (de metal o con forro verde).

8.Introduzca los cables dentro de la caja de embutir (B) (vea la Fig. 1).

INSTRUCCIONES DE MONTAJE DEL ARTEFACTO

1.Coloque la placa posterior (E) sobre la placa de montaje (A) y asegúrela en su lugar con los tornillos de montaje (F).

2.Instale las lámparas. No exceda el vataje recomendado.

3.Instale la tapa resistente a la intemperie (G) sobre el alojamiento del artefacto (H).

4.Conecte nuevamente el suministro eléctrico en la caja de fusibles.
