MAKING THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS:
A. RECEIVER INSTALLATION
NOTE: Before installing this unit, change the factory code switch set- ting to your own preferred setting. Be sure the code switch positions of the transmitter and receiver match each other or the ceiling fan will not function. If this unit causes interference with other appliances, you may need to select different combinations.
1.In order to set the code on the transmitter, begin by removing the battery cover. Slide the code switches to your choice of settings (do not use the factory settings in which all the switches are on). Use a small screwdriver or ball point pen to slide the switches firmly up or down (see figure 1). Replace the battery cover on the transmitter.
2.In order to set the code on the receiver, slide the code switches to the same positions as set on your transmitter (see figure 2).
B. WIRING THE RECEIVER IN YOUR CEILING FAN
1.If your ceiling fan is equipped with variable speed and light ON/OFF pull chain switch controls, make sure to set the speed control at the highest speed and the light to the ON position before installing the thermostat control. This will avoid erratic speeds and possible damage to your ceiling fan.
2.Verify proper operation of the ceiling fan before installation. Improper wiring can damage the control and will void the warranty.
3.Disconnect power to the ceiling fan at the main electric panel. Remove the fuse or switch the circuit breaker to the OFF position.
4.Remove ceiling fan canopy from the mounting bracket.
5.Disconnect existing wiring between ceiling fan and AC supply at electrical junction box.
6.Place the receiver inside the ceiling fan bracket (see figure 3).
7.Make electrical connections as follows:
a.Connect GREEN fan wire to the bare supply wire.
b.Connect BLACK receiver wire (AC in L) to the BLACK supply wire.
c.Connect WHITE receiver wire (AC in N) to the WHITE supply wire.
d.Connect BLACK receiver wire (TO MOTOR L) to the BLACK fan wire.
e.Connect WHITE receiver wire (TO MOTOR N) to the WHITE fan wire.
f.Connect BLUE receiver wire (FOR LIGHT) to the BLUE light wire.
If other fan or supply wires are different colors, have this unit installed by qualified licensed electrician.
8.Push all connected wires up into the junction box.
9.Lay the black antenna wire on top the receiver. 10.Reinstall the canopy on the mounting bracket.
11.Restore power at main electrical panel.
12.For best operation, select HIGH speed until the motor starts, then select the desired speed.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
PROBLEM: REMOTE FAILS TO OPERATE
Check:
•Is there power to the control unit?
•Is the control unit wired correctly?
•Are the fan and light switches set on the highest position?
•Is there a good battery in the remote? If the red indicator lights when either button is pushed, the battery is good.
•Are the switches set the same in both the remote and the control unit?
PROBLEM: SHORT RANGE Solution:
•If the remote can operate the control unit when close to it but does not operate it at distances of

1.Instale 4 pilas AAA (no incluidas).
