CAUTION: Forfixtures labeled for outdoor and wet location use, provide a water-tight seal
between the fixture and the mounting surface byusing silicone or similar caulking.
NOTE: Underwriters Laboratories (UL) does not require all fixtures to have ground wires. These
fixtures meet all UL specifications.
1. Turn off powerat fuse box to avoid possible electric shock.
2. Thread mounting screws (A) into cross bar(B) with mounting screws protruding away from
outlet box(C) (see figure 1) .
3. Secure cross bar (B) to outletbox (C) with outlet box screws (D) (not included).
4. Identify colorcoding of fixture wires (see figure 2 on page 11).
5. To connectwires, take black fixture wire and place evenly against blackoutlet box wire.
Do not twist wires.
6. Fit wire connector(E) over wires and twist until there is a firm connection (see figure 2).
7. Repeat steps 4 and 5with the white (group B from figure 2) fixture wire and outlet boxwires.
8. Partially thread green grounding screw(F) into side hole (G) of cross bar (B) (see figure 1).
9. Wrap ground wire from fixture and ground wire (metal orgreen wire) from outlet box(C)
around green grounding screw (F) on cross bar(B).
10. Tighten grounding screw (F). Do not overtighten.
MOUNTING AND WIRING INSTRUCTIONSFIXTURE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Tuckwires inside outlet box (C) (see figure 1).
2. Place backplate (H) over mounting screws (A).
3. Secure into place with cap nuts (I).
4. Install lamp(s). Do not exceed recommended wattage.
5. Turn on powerat circuit breaker.
