To remove the Consumer Buy Guide label and energy rating label lift one edge and pull straight off.
To remove any remaining glue:
1.Rub briskly with thumb to make a ball, then remove.
2.Soak area with a liquid hand dishwashing detergent before removing glue as described in step 1.
Do not use rubbing alcohol or flammable toxic solvents, such as acetone, gasollne, carbon tetrachloride, etc. These can damage the material.
Do not use a sharp instrument or any harsh or abrasive cleaners.

Energy Saving Tips
l Improve home insulation (seal doors, win- dows, and close fireplace flue).
l Close blinds or drapes on sunny side of house. Add window awnings.
lKeep air filter clean. Don’t block air flow with drapes or furniture.
l Ventilate attic (high temperature levels add to normal cooling load).

lTry not to use heat producing appliances during the hottest part of the day Turn lights, radios, televisions and other appliances off when not needed.
l Keep heat registers and cool air returns closed or blocked off so cooled air won’t escape.
lUse a vent fan in cooking, laundry or bathing areas to pull out heat and moisture near its source.

Using your air conditioner

Set the EXHAUST VENTCONTROL to CLOSED for best cooling or heating results.
Set the FAN SPEEDCONTROL to the desired setting.

Turn THERMOSTATCONTROL to the mid (number 6) setting. Adjust the air conditioner’s cooling performance by resetting the ther- mostat control to a higher number for max- imum cooling. Lower the thermostat for less cooling. You will need to experiment to find the setting which suits you best.
CAUTION: If you turn your air condltloner off, Walt at least two (2) mlnutes before fuming It back on or you may blow a fuse.
When lowering the thermostat control setting, the compressor (motor] may shut off. When the compressor is turned off with either the system control or the thermostat control, wait
or turning the compressor back on.
