If you have the automatic ice maker accessory or plan to add one later (Part No.

l Shake the bin occasronally to keep cubes sepa- rated, and to obtain increased storage capacity.
l It is normal for ice crescents to be attached by a corner. They will break apart easily,
l You will hear water running when ice maker is working. You’ll hear ice fall into the bin Don’t let these sounds bother you.
l The ice maker will not operate until the freezer IS cold enough to make ice. This can take overnight.

l If ice is not being made fast enough and more ice is needed, turn the Temperature Control toward a higher number. Wait a day and, if necessary, turn the Air Control toward A.

You can change the hinges on your refrigerator so the doors open the other way. Refer to the instruction sheet included with your refngerator.
Adjusting shelves.. .
Shelves can be adjusted to match the way you use your refrigerator.
To remove shelves:
1.Tilt up at front.
2.Lift up at back.
3.Pull shelf straight ou
To replace:
1.Guide the rear hooks into the slots in the shelf supports.
2.Tilt up front of shelf until hooks drop into slot. Lower front of shelf to level position.
Changing the light bulb.. .
Before removing the light shield for cleaning or for
replacing the bulb, unplug the refrigerator. Use opplionce bulbs only
ush in the Center;
lPush lightly on the top center of the light shield until
the notched tab unhooks from the control panel.
l Pull down on the shield until the tab clears the control panel.
lLift the back hooks out of their slots.
l Replace wrth a 40.watt applrance bulb l Replace lrght shreld In reverse order.
Removing the crispers and crisper covers.. .
lSlide crispers straight out to stop l Lift the front.
l Slide the rest of the way out. l Replace in reverse order.
Covers are held in place by two pegs at the back and two notched tabs in front.
Snap Back into Place.
lPress front tabs out of the way. l Lift cover front.
l Lift back off the pegs.
l Replace in reverse order.
The center leg can be made shorter or longer to help level the crisper covers, if necessary. Turn the leg clockwise to make it longer. Turn it counter- clockwise to shorten it.
Ice cube trays...
To remove Ice:
lHold tray at both ends. l Slightly twrst.
If cubes are not used, they may shrink. The moving cold air starts a slow evaporation. The longer cubes are stored, the smaller they get.
