220V Operation

The Model W1808/W1809/W1810 is wired for 220V single- phase operation. Always connect this machine to a dedi- cated circuit (wire, breaker, plug, receptacle) with a verified ground, using the recommended circuit size and plugs/receptacles listed at the bottom of this page.

Never replace a circuit breaker with one of higher amperage without consulting a qualified electrician to ensure compliance with wiring codes.

This machine must be grounded! Verify the ground before connecting this machine to the power source.

If you are unsure about the wiring codes in your area or you plan to connect your machine to a shared cir- cuit, you may create a fire or circuit overload hazard— consult a qualified electrician to reduce this risk.

Extension Cords

We do not recommend using an extension cord; however, if you have no alternative, use the following guidelines:

Use a cord rated for Standard Service (S).

Do not use a cord longer than 50 feet.

Ensure that the cord has a ground wire and pin.

Use the gauge size listed below as a minimum.
