7 If desired, adjust the BASS, TREBLE, BALANCE and LOUDNESS controls or turn on the CD DIRECT AMP switch. (Refer to page 13).

Note

If the TAPE MONITOR indicator is illuminated when you listen to a source, press the TAPE MONITOR switch to turn off the TAPE MONITOR indicator.

When you finish using this unit

Press the STANDBY/ON switch again to turn this unit into the standby mode.

Standby mode

In this state, this unit consumes a very small quantity of power to receive infrared-signals from the remote control transmitter.
