If the button is pressed and held, the track number is continuously changed to higher numbers (or lower numbers).

●When using the SKIP/SEARCH buttons on the front panel: Be careful not to press and hold a button, otherwise the selected track is played forward (or backward) rapidly.

To advance or reverse play rapidly (MANUAL SEARCH)

The sound can be heard (although slightly garbled) during

 

 

manual search in either direction. This is convenient for

locating a precise position within a track, or for reviewing the

 

contents quickly.
