Initializing a CD-RW disc

This operation inilializes a CD-RW disc.

1 • Set a CD-RW disc in the disc tray, then press and hold ERASE for about two seconds,

"Erase Disc ?" appears on the display.

To cancel erasing, press D.

2. Press _pD to start erasing.

"Erasing" llashes on the display, and the level reeler shows the erasing progress (Ihe process lakes aboul 20 minutes).

"Erase Last" and "Erase TOC" cannot be applied to a CD-RW disc recorded with "Full Auto" (E42) (except lor adding track data to a disc without finalization) or a CD-RW disc recorded with duplication.

Never turn ofl the power of this unit during erasing.

If"Check Disc" appears on the display during erasing, and erasing stops, there may be dust or damage on the CD-RW disc. Check the CD-RW disc and start the erasing operation again.
