You can change Ihe brightness of the display.
1 • Carry out steps 1 to 3 in "Checking the firmware
version (Firm. Version)" (P.73).
The display changes lor the system ulili Uitem selection.
2. Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/-, •or •on the
remote control) to select "Dimmer Setup".

3, Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote
control) to display the current setting.
Rotating the MULTI J(-)(-;knob (pressing +/ ,• or • on the

You can switch the on-screen display output through the VIDEO
OUT jacks en and off.

The display claanges for the syslem utility item selection.
2. Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +1-, •or •on the
remote control) to select "VIDEO Output".

3, Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote
control) to display the current setting.
Rotating tile MULTI JOG knoh (pressing +/ ,• or • on the
remote control) switches the setting between "VIDEO On" and
"VIDEO Oil'.
Initial setting is "VIDEO On".
4. Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote
control) or COMPLETE.
The on-screen displa) output is set to on or o11.
Select "VIDEO Olg' if the on-screen display is not used so that you
can enjoy playback or recording with higher quality sounds.
5, Press D or MENU to exit.
Tile unit returns to tile stop mode.
Initial setting is "Dimmer Bright".
4, Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote
control) or COMPLETE.
The display hrightness has heeu set.
