Setting a condition for synchronized

recording

This unit automatically detects track intervals when recording is made in track-synchronized recording mode, multi-synchronized recording mode, or all-synchronized recording mode. You can set the condition for detecting track intervals. Setting items are as follows.

1 • Press MENU while this unit is in the stop mode.

Menu item selection appears on the display.

2. Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/-, or on the remote control) to select "Synchro Setup".

3.Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote control).

4, Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/-, or on the remote control) to select a setting item.

OPT TH Level

Sets the signal level Ilaaljudges the signals input through the

DIGITAL IN (OPTICAL)jack as "no signal".

Initial setting: 5()dB, Control range: 90 to 20dB

COAX TH Level

Sets the signal level that judges the signals input through the

DIGITAL IN (COAXIAL)jack as "no signal".

Initial setting: 5()dB, Control range: 90 to 20dB

ANLG TH Level

Sets the signal level that judges the signals input through the ANALOG LINE IN (REC)jacks as "no signal".

Initial setting: _,()dB, Control range: 60 Io 20dB

Int.Time

Sets the lengfll of silence ("no signal") that judges track intervals. When the set am(mot of silence continues, Ihis unit judges it as a Irack interval and places a Irack marker.

Initial setting: 2.0 seconds, Control range: 1).5 to 5.0 seconds

End Duration

Sets the length of silence I"no signal") thor judges the end ol playback when recording in the all-synchronized recording mode. When the set amount of silence continues, recording will be slopped.

Inilial setting: 12.0 seconds, Control range: 2.0 to 60.0 seconds

If you sel a TH (threshold) level, a signal less Ihan Ihe specified TH level is not inpul through the jack (considered as "no signal").

Settings for "Int. Time" and "End Duration" apply to each input jack.

5.Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote control) to confirm the setting item.

If "OPT TH Level", "COAX TH Level" or "ANLG TH Level" is confirmed, lk_llowthe "When OPT TH Level. COAX TH Level, or ANLG TH Level is selected" procedure below.

If "Ird. Time" or "End Duration" is confirmed, follow the "When Int. Time or End Duration is selecled" procedure below.

6.Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (press +/-, or on the remote control) to adjust the level.

Level can he set hy ldB step.

7.Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote control) to confirm the level.

6.Rotate the MULTI JOG knob (+/-,or on the remote control) to set an interval.

"Int. Time" can he set hy 0.5-second steps, and "End Duration" can be sel by, 1.0-second steps.

7.Press the MULTI JOG knob (ENTER on the remote control) to set an interval.

Press MENU twice to close the menu and return to the normal stop mode.
