Functional Overview
Front Panel
STANDBY/ON
–turns on this player or sets it to the
standby mode
Disc tray
–loads up to 5 discs in the disc tray
/ OPEN/CLOSE
– opens/closes the disc tray
DISPLAY
–shows the current status of the
player
SA-CD indicator
–lights up when the player detects
SA-CD signals
DVD-AUDIO indicator
–lights up when the player detects
DVD-Audio signals
MULTI CH indicator
–lights up when you play multi-channel
audio source
DISC (1, 2, 3, 4, 5)/LEDs
–use to select and directly playback
the preferred disc
–each LED flashes green when the
button is selected
PROGRESSIVE indicator
– lights up when the player enters
PROGRESSIVE mode
HDMI indicator
– lights up when the player is capable of
outputting signals from the HDMI (High
Definition Multimedia Interface) terminal
DOWN MIX indicator
– lights up when you play the discs that
allow down mixing of the
multi-channel audio sources
S/Q
– searches backward*
– moves to the previous chapter or track
R/T
– searches forward*
– moves to the next chapter or track
B/; PLAY/PAUSE
– starts or interrupts playback
9 STOP
– stops playback
PLAYXCHANGE
– use to change another disc
during playback
