YPAO Sets the Best Sound for Your Room — Automatically!
RX-V757, RX-V657, YHT-840BG and DVX-S150)
YPAO automatically modifies the audio output to provide precisely the best sound for the acoustics of the room. The unit comes supplied with a high precision Optimiser Microphone, which you simply place in the position where you most frequently listen. Activating the YPAO function causes test tones to be emitted from the speakers. These tones are picked up by the Optimiser Microphone and then analysed. Based on the results, a variety of audio parameters are precisely calibrated to optimise the sound at the listening position. You enjoy not only better sound, but the BEST sound for each and every room.
