Pre-shared key

 

 

 

Passphrase

The encryption mechanisms used for WPA and WPA-PSKare the same. The only

 

difference between the two is that WPA-PSKuses a simple common password,

 

instead of user-specific credentials. A “password phrase” is called a passphrase.

 

Type a passphrase from 8 to 63 case-sensitive ASCII characters (including spaces

 

and symbols).

 

 

Unmask

Note that as you type a passphrase, the screen displays an asterisk (*) for each

 

character you type. Select this check box if you want to view the passphrase you

 

entered.

 

 

OK

Click OK to save the changes and close the screen.

 

 

Cancel

Click Cancel to leave this screen without saving.
