1. Carburetter adjustment

This adjustment should preferably be carried out by a trained mechanic.

[n an emergency, the following adjustment may be carried out by the saw owner.

Screw the L and H needles right in, exercising care — use the carburetter screwdriver. Do not screw them down hard as this may damage the carburetter housing,

From this position, screw

the L needle out slightly more than one complete turn (1.1 turns)

the H needle out slightly less than one complete turn (0.9 turns)

Set the idling screw (T) to give a good margin between idling speed and clutch engagement speed. Idling speed: approx. 2500 rpm.

Caution

For longest service life and maximum power it is most important to ensure that the carbu retter is correctly tuned. The full-throttle jet must be adjusted so that maximum power is obtained, not maximum revs. Over-revving reduces engine pow- er and shortens engine life.

1.Einstellen des Vergasers

Diese Einstellung sollte nach Moglichkeit ein Fachmann ausftihren.

Die folgende Einstellung kann im Notfall vom Benutzer vorgenommen werden.

Die Leerlauf- und Hauptstellschraube vollig ein- schrauben. Vorsichtig mit dem Schraubenzieher fur den Vergaser arbeiten. Durch zu festes Ein- drehen kann das Vergasergehause beschadigt werden.

Aus dieser Stellung sind die Schrauben hoch- zudrehen, und zwar:

Die Leerlaufstellsch raube etwas mehr a!s eine Umdrehung (1,1 Umdrehung)

Die Hauptstellschraube nicht ganz eine Umdre- hung (0,9 Umdrehung)

Die Leerlaufanschlagsch raube so einstellen, class zwischen der Leerlaufdrehzahl und der Einruck- drehzahl ausreichender Spielraum vorhanden ist. Leerlaufdrehzahl: ca. 2500 rpm.

Wichtiger Hinweis

Urn maximale Lebensdauer und hochste Leistung zu erzielen, ist es sehr wichtig, class der Vergaser richtig eingestellt ist. Die Hauptstellschraube muss hochste Leistung und nicht hochste Drehzahl ergeben. Schnellauf vermindert Leistung und Lebensdauer des Motors.

Ce reglage doit E?treconfie de preference a un specialist.

Toutefois, en cas de necessite, l’utilisateur peut Iui-m@me proceder au reglage ci-apr+s.

Vissez a fond Ies aiguilles L et H, Ce faisant,) operez avec precaution, avec Ie tournevis special

pour carburateur, afin de ne pas risquer d’en- dommager Ie corps de carburateur en serrant trop.

Ensuite, en partant de cette position, devissez I’aiguille L de 1,1 tour:

I“aiguilleH de 0,9 tour.

Reglez pour sa part la vis de ralenti (T) de telle maniere qu’il y ait une marge suffisante entre Ie regime de ralenti et Ie regime d’embraya- ge.

Regime de ralenti: env. 2500 rpm.

Important

Pour obtenir un maximum de Iongevite et de puissance de la tron$onneuse, il est extr6mement important que Ie carburateur soit correctement regle. Le gicleur de marche a plein gaz doit &re regle de telle sorte que la puissance soit maxi- male, et non pas Ie regime. Un regime excessif reduit en effet la puissance et la duree du moteur.
