Fit the chain in the guide bar groove and round the nose wheel. Check that the tensioning stud is in position. Fit the clutch housing in place, screwing the nuts on fingertight only.

Tension the chain while holding up the guide bar nose. Although the chain should be taut, it should still be possible to pull it round by hand. NOTE: A new chain must be run-in.

Tighten the guide bar nuts down hard.
