The Poulan 177167 is an advanced, high-performance chainsaw designed for both professional loggers and dedicated home users. Renowned for its robust construction and reliability, this model is engineered to handle a variety of cutting tasks, from felling trees to pruning branches and cutting firewood.

One of the standout features of the Poulan 177167 is its powerful 42cc engine, which provides ample strength for heavy-duty cutting applications. The engine is designed with a high horsepower-to-weight ratio, allowing users to operate the chainsaw efficiently without feeling overly fatigued. The easy start technology ensures that you can get going quickly without the frustration often associated with starting small engines.

This chainsaw incorporates a 16-inch bar, balanced for optimum maneuverability, making it suitable for various types of cutting jobs. The low-kickback chain design enhances user safety while providing smoother cutting action. The chain is also easy to replace and maintain, thanks to the tool-less chain tensioning feature. This allows for simple adjustments without the need for additional tools, making it convenient for users in the field.

Durability is a key characteristic of the Poulan 177167. The body of the chainsaw is constructed from high-quality materials designed to withstand the rigors of demanding tasks. Additionally, it features an automatic oiling system which continuously lubricates the chain, reducing wear and extending the life of the bar and chain assembly.

User comfort is prioritized in the design of the Poulan 177167, which includes a comfortable, ergonomically designed handle that reduces vibration and enhances grip. This minimizes hand fatigue during prolonged use, allowing users to stay focused on their cutting tasks.

Safety mechanisms such as the chain brake and throttle interlock are incorporated to protect users from accidents. The chain brake activates automatically during a kickback, stopping the chain instantly and providing peace of mind while operating the saw.

In summary, the Poulan 177167 is a feature-rich chainsaw designed for both versatility and durability. It combines a powerful engine with user-friendly technologies and safety features, making it an excellent choice for anyone in need of reliable cutting performance, whether for professional logging or home landscaping projects.
