OPERATION

TO INSTALL BATTERY PACK

Place the battery pack in the grass shear. Align raised rib on battery pack with groove in grass shear battery port. See Figure 3.

Make sure the latches on each side of the battery pack snap in place and that battery pack is secured in the grass shear before beginning operation.

TO REMOVE BATTERY PACK

Locate latches on side of battery pack and de- press both sides to release the battery pack from the grass shear. See Figure 3.

Remove battery pack from the grass shear.

CAUTION:

When placing battery pack in your grass shear, be sure raised rib on battery pack aligns with groove in grass shear battery port and latches snap in place properly. Improper assembly of battery pack can cause damage to internal components.

STARTING THE GRASS SHEAR

Remove the blade cover.

Press and hold the trigger lock button. See Figure 4. This makes the trigger operational.

Release the trigger lock button and continue to squeeze the trigger for extended operation.

STOPPING THE GRASS SHEAR

Release the trigger to stop the grass shear.

Upon release of the trigger, the trigger lock button will be automatically reset to the lock position.
