GENERAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Then press the power trigger up to apply full power.

Release the power trigger and check thereby the free back movement of the power trigger.The cutting unit must stop within 1 second.

Restart the machine and release the power trigger lockout on the front handle. Check that the power trigger lockout returns to its original position when you release it. The cutting unit must stop within 1 second.

Hand guard

Li-ion

The hand guard prevents hands from coming into contact with the moving blades, for example, if the operator loses grip on the front handle.

Check that the hand guard is fitted correctly. Check that the hand guard is undamaged.

Blade and blade guard

Li-ion

The outer part of the blades (1) is shaped as blade guards.

Check that the blade guard is not damaged or distorted. Replace the cutting unit if it is bent or damaged. The term ”power tool” in the warnings refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated (cordless) power tool.

Fitting the end protection on the cutting deck

The tip protector is used to protect the outer end of the blade.

Fit the end protection on the cutting unit.

Use the screw and the nut on the cutting deck.Tighten to 8 Nm.
