Suspending playback temporarily (Pause mode)
Press the PAUSE button (J) during playback to stop playback at the current position. To resume playback, press the PAUSE button (J) again.
Stopping playback
Press the Stop button (L/H) to stop playback.
Ejecting a disc
In CD/SACD mode, when playback is stopped, press the Eject button (L/H) to eject a disc.
You can also eject the disc when in modes other than CD/SACD mode.
Precaution when reinserting an
If a disc cannot be ejected, put the unit in standby (turn the power off) and then turn it on again, or press the Eject button (L/H) for 2 seconds or more.
Skipping to an earlier or later track

Press a Skip button (. or /) repeatedly to select the track you |

want to hear. Then, press the PLAY button (G) to start playback of |

the selected track. |

Searching for a part of a track
During playback, hold down a SCAN button (m or ,) to scan backwards and forwards. Press the PLAY button (G) to restart playback at the desired location.
Repeated presses of the SCAN buttons (m or ,) changes the scanning speeds.
