Setup Mode

Changing settings

1 Press and hold the SOURCE button for more than 2 seconds to enter the setup mode.

Hold down

more than 2 sec.

The setup indicator (

) and setup item appear on the

display.

 

<You can also use the SETUP button on the remote control unit. (This button does not need to be pushed for more than 2 seconds. It will start setup mode immediately.)

2 Press the SOURCE button repeatedly to select an item.

Each time the SOURCE button is pressed, the item changes as follows:

BAL>

Speaker balance

 

Level of high frequency sound range

 

 

TREBLE>

 

Level of low frequency sound range

 

 

BASS>

 

Digital ￿lter

 

 

DF>

 

LINE2/PHONO terminal

 

 

L-2>

 

 

 

 

 

DIMMER>

 

Return to the previous display (Exit setup mode)

<You can also use the SETUP button on the remote control unit.

<If no button is pressed for more than 10 seconds, the setup mode will be canceled and return to the previous display.

3 Press the VOL (+/−) buttons to change the setting.

<You can also use the INPUT (  /  ) buttons on the remote control unit.

See “Available setup items and settings” on the next page for Individual setting.

Repeat steps 2 and 3 as required.

4 Press the SOURCE button repeatedly to exit the setup mode.

<If one of the following buttons is pressed, the setup mode will be canceled:

Eject button (L/H)

STOP button (H) on the remote control unit

CLEAR button on the remote control unit

<Memorized settings are stored even after the power cord has been disconnected.
