To program memory channel 2 follow the instructions for programming memory channel 1, except substituting channel 2 for channel 1.

c. “M3 SC Button”; To start scan, set the squelch to mute the background noise. Press

and

release the “SC” scan button, scan will begin. The scan will stop on all channels

where a

signal is received with enough strength to open the squelch. The squelch will

remain

stopped for a

few seconds after the signal disappears to allow time to answer

the call. To

stop scan press the SC button. Pressing the UP/DOWN or PTT buttons

will also stop

the scan.

 

To select memory channel M3 press and release the “M3” button.

To program memory channel 3 follow the instructions for programming memory channel 1, except substituting channel 3 for channel 1.

d. “M4 CB/WX Button”; To change between CB and weather receive, press and release

the CB/WX button. To select weather channels press the up or down button. To select memory channel M4 press and release the “M4” button.

To program memory channel 4 follow the instructions for programming memory channel 1, except substituting channel 4 for channel 1.

e. “M5 Lock Button”; To lock out all button functions except PTT, press and release the LOCK button. To unlock, again press and release the LOCK button.

To select memory channel M5 press and release the “M5” button.

To program memory channel 5 follow the instructions for programming memory channel 1, except substituting channel 5 for channel 1.
