WARNING

AVOID SERIOUS

INJURY OR DEATH

1.GO UP AND DOWN SLOPES, NOT ACROSS.

2.AVOID SUDDEN TURNS.

3.DO NOT OPERATE UNIT WHERE IT COULD SLIP OR TIP.

4.IF MACHINE STOPS GOING UPHILL, STOP PTO AND BACK DOWN HILL SLOWLY.

5.DO NOT MOW WHEN CHILDREN OR OTHERS ARE AROUND.

6.DO NOT ALLOW PASSENGERS ON THE TRACTOR AT ANY TIME.

7.LOOK DOWN AND BEHIND BEFORE AND WHILE BACKING.

8.KEEP SAFETY DEVICES [GUARDS, SHIELDS, AND SWITCHES] IN PLACE AND WORKING.

9.REMOVE OBJECTS THAT COULD BE THROWN BY THE BLADES.

10.KNOW LOCATION AND FUNCTION OF ALL CONTROLS.

11.BE SURE THE BLADES AND THE ENGINE ARE STOPPED BEFORE PLACING HANDS OR FEET NEAR BLADES.

12.BEFORE LEAVING OPERATOR'S POSITION, DISENGAGE PTO, ENGAGE BRAKE LOCK, SHUT OFF ENGINE AND REMOVE KEY.

13.SLOW DOWN FOR TURNS, ROUGH GROUND AND SLOPES TO AVOID UPSET.

14.ON PUBLIC ROADS USE SMV EMBLEM AND HAZARD LIGHTS.

To avoid personal injury, keep PTO shield in place.

Pull only from draw bar. pulling from any other point can cause rear overturn.

Disengage PTO and stop engine before servicing tractor, or implements, or attaching or detaching implements.

FAILURE TO FOLLOW ANY OF THE INSTRUCTIONS ABOVE CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY TO THE OPERATOR, OR OTHER PERSONS.
