6.4Setting up the Message Key on the optiPoint Telephone

In the web interface, go to Administration > Function keys... Phone to get to the function keys assignment feature.

Click the Edit button of the key you want to assign the message function to.

On the right side of the web interface another input mask is displayed. Select "Voice Message" from the pull-down menu Select a function. Using the option Locked by administrator you can define whether this key is to be locked. In case of an optiPoint 420 S telephone you can enter the key labeling into the field Key Label. Once you have entered all the data you are asked to save them. As soon as you have saved the data, the new function key is available.
