Banner

Check Enable Banner to print a banner page before each print job. If using a PostScript Printer, click to enable for printing a banner. The User Name will be printed on the banner page.

Windows SMB Printing

This method requires no additional software to be installed, but either the NetBEUI or TCP/IP protocol must be installed on your computer.

If you need to change the Domain name of your WPS870G, run the Installation Wizard again.

Use the following procedure to configure the WPS870G’s printer as a Windows SMB network printer:

1Double-click the Network Neighborhood or My Network Places icon on your desktop.

2From the View menu, select Details.

3Locate the desired Wireless Print Server, as shown in the example below:

If it is the same Workgroup as your computer, it will be listed.

If it is in a different workgroup, double-click Entire Network, then double-click the appropriate Workgroup to locate it.

4Double-click WPS870G to view a Printer icon for each printer port. The Comment field may indicate what type of printer is connected to the port.
