Control Panel

Control Panel allows you to adjust the password to the WPS870G and to update the unit’s firmware.

Device Security

Device Security enables you to change the password of the Web-based GUI of the WPS870G as well as the Login Idle Time.

Click Control Panel to access Device Security. The Device Security window is displayed:

Confirm

Description

Type a new password. There is a minimum of 0 characters and a maximum of 16.

Enter the password again to confirm you entered it correctly.

If you ever forget the password, you can reset the WPS870G to factory defaults. Refer to Test Print and Restore Button for further details.

Login Idle Time

This determines how long your connection to the Graphical User

 

Interface (GUI) remains alive with no activity. The Login Idle Time

 

default is 10 minutes. Type a new figure to change the idle time.

Cancel

Click to cancel any changes.
