Kit Contents

The chassis subassembly kit includes this product guide and a box that includes two pair of 5.25- inch external drive rails, four different types of mounting screws, and two brackets for the optional SCSI hot-swap hard drive bay (SCSI hot-swap hard drive bay not included).

Drive Bays

 

One 3.5-inch diskette drive bay, accessible from front.

 

 

Two 5.25-inch wide bays that are externally accessible, designed to hold half-height

 

 

standard removable media devices.

 

 

A hard drive bay cage designed to hold up to six 3.5-inch hard disk drives. The cage is

 

 

not externally accessible.

 

 

An optional hot swap bay for 3.5-inch hard disk drives: space for up to five 1-inch high,

 

 

SCSI hot-swap hard drives or four SATA drives.

 

 

Expansion Slot

Up to seven expansion slots can be used; unused expansion slots must have a slot cover

Power Supply

600 Watt PFC power supply.

 

 

 

Cooling

 

Two system fans inside the chassis and one power supply fan provide cooling and airflow.
