SYSTEM SETUP: Advanced menu

FUNCTION

DESCRIPTION

(default setting /

Quick Cooling

Enables or disables the Quick Cooling function. Selecting On enables

(On)

the function and projector cooling time will be shortened from a

normal 90-second duration to approximately 30 seconds.

 

High Altitude

A mode for operation in high altitude areas. See "Operating in a high

Mode

altitude environment" on page 26 for details.

 

(Off)

 

 

 

 

Enables or disables the DCR (Dynamic Contrast Ratio) function.

 

Selecting On enables the function and the projector will

 

automatically switch the lamp mode between normal and economic

DCR

mode according to the input image detected.

 

(Off)

This function is only available when a PC source is in use.

 

After enabling DCR, frequent lamp mode switching may shorten lamp

 

life and noise level will vary during operation.

Menu Display Time (15 sec)

 

Sets the length of time the OSD will remain active after your last

button press. The range is from 5 to 30 seconds in 5-second

increments.

 

Menu Position (Center)

 

Sets the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu position.

 

 

 

Lamp Mode (Normal)

 

Setting the projector in Economic mode also extends the lamp timer

 

automatic shutdown feature. See "Setting Lamp Mode as Economic"

 

on page 38 for details.

Lamp

Reset Lamp Timer

Once the lamp is renewed, select Reset to return the lamp timer to '0'.

Settings

 

See "Resetting the lamp timer" on page 41 for details.

 

Equivalent Lamp Hour

 

Displays the number of hours the lamp has been used. See "Getting to

 

know the lamp hour" on page 38 for details on how the total lamp

 

hour is calculated.

Reset All

Returns all settings to the factory preset values.

 

Settings

The following settings will still remain: Projector Position, Language,

 

High Altitude Mode, Phase, User 1, User 2, Position, H. Size.
