6 Option Setup

3.Put a check mark into the box next to option you want to use under Select Protocol. You must select at least one protocol, however both can be selected.

Click the Return to standard setting button to return to the protocol to the standard default.

4.Click the OK button.

5.On the confirmation dialog box that appears, click the OK button.

6.2 Specifying the Search Range

When using IP protocol, perform the steps below to specify the network device search range. Note that you cannot specify the search range when using IPX protocol.

1.Select Option on the Setup menu to display the Option dialog box.

2.Click the Specify Search Range tab.

3.A check mark is in the box next to the protocol that is currently selected on the Select Protocol tab. See 6.1 Selecting a Protocol for details about changing the protocol setting.
