3.4.5 Boot Up NumLock Status The default is “On”.
On | Keypad boots up to number keys. |
Off | Keypad boots up to arrow keys. |
3.4.6 Boot Up System Speed
High | Sets the speed to high. |
Low | Sets the speed to low. |
3.4.7 IDE HDD Block Mode
Enabled | Enable IDE HDD Block Mode. |
| BIOS will detect the block size of the HDD and send a |
| block command automatically. |
Disabled | Disable IDE HDD Block Mode. |
3.4.8 Gate A20 Option
Normal | The A20 signal is controlled by the keyboard |
| controller or chipset hardware. |
Fast (Default) | The A20 signal is controlled by Port 92 or the |
| chipset specific method. |
3.4.9 Typematic Rate Setting
The typematic rate determines the characters per second accepted by the computer. The Typematic Rate setting enables or disables the typematic rate.
3.4.10 Typematic Rate (Chars/Sec)
BIOS accepts the following input values (characters/second) for typematic rate: 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 20, 24, 30.
