Compliance Information for U.S.A.

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy, and if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures;

Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.

Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.

Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.

Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

FCC Warning

To assure continued FCC compliance, the user must use grounded power supply cord and the provided shielded video interface cable with bonded ferrite cores. If a BNC cable is going to be used, use only a shielded BNC(5) cable. Also, any unauthorized changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate this device.

This Class A digital apparatus complies with Canadian ICES-003.

European Union – EMC Directive

This product is in conformity with the protection requirements of the EU Council Directive 89/366/ECC on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to electromagnetic compatibility.

ViewSonic cannot accept responsibility for any failure to satisfy the protection requirements resulting from a non-recommended modification of the product, including the fitting of non-ViewSonic option cards.

This product has been tested and found to comply with the limits for Class A Information Technology Equipment according to CISPR 22/European Standard EN 55022. The limits for Class A equipment were derived for commercial and industrial environments to provide reasonable protection against interference with licensed communication equipment.

Warning: This is a Class A product. In a domestic environment this product may cause radio interference, in which case the user may be required to take adequate measures.
