yPartition universal serial bus (USB) ports — Two USB 2.0 ports on the front and two USB 2.0 ports on the back of the cell

In addition, the cell includes the following ports on the management board:

yMaintenance LAN port (10/100 Ethernet port)

yUSB management port

yManagement serial port

Figure 2-9 shows the location of the ports on the back of the cell.

Inbuilt RAID Controller

The inbuilt RAID controller supports 3 Gbps SAS drives and is compliant with x4 lane PCI Express 1.0a. It supports the following disk configuration options:

yRAID 0 (striping)

yRAID 1 (mirroring)

yRAID 5 (disk striping with distributed parity)

yRAID 6 (disk striping with dual distributed parity)

yRAID 10 (striped data across mirrored spans)

yRAID 50 (distributed parity with disk striping)
