Picture Quality Adjustment

Adjusts image focus and disturbance.

Focus adjustment

Aligns the focus of the image.

1 Rotate the Focus Ring to make the required adjustment.

Point

·It is not possible to align the focus if the lens is dirty or fogged over with condensation. In this event, clean the lens accordingly. (see page 88)

·Correct adjustment is not possible if the installation position is out of line by between 1.1 to 14.6 meters.

·If optional lenses are to be used, refer to the relevant instruction manuals for further details.

Auto adjustment (when projecting computer images)

Automatically adjusts the computer image to attain the optimum effect. The items adjusted include the Tracking, Position and Sync.

1 Press the [ Enter] button on the projector (the [Auto / Capture] button on the remote control ).

·If auto adjustments are initiated when the E-Zoom, A/V Mute or P in P functions are exe- cuting, adjustment will not be carried out until the executing function has been cancelled.

·Depending on the type of signals being output by the computer, there are cases when adjustment cannot be carried out correctly. In this event, adjust the Tracking and Sync. (see page 48)
