SCSI status responses | In the SCSI communication mode, a function is considered | ||
| incomplete until a valid status response is received from the other | ||
| end of the SCSI link. There are three valid SCSI status | ||
| responses: |

|
| Good Status | 00H | The frame was successfully |
|
|
| received and individual fields |
|
|
| within the frame contained legal |
|
|
| characters. |
|
|
|
|
| Check Condition | 02H | A special condition occurred. A |
| Status |
| SCSI Request Sense command |
|
|
| is required to obtain information |
|
|
| about the cause of the condition. |
|
|
| Some host adapters |
|
|
| automatically perform a Request |
|
|
| Sense command. |
|
|
|
|
| Busy Status | 08H | Target is unable to accept |
|
|
| commands at the present time. |
|
|
| Host should try again. The host |
|
|
| should wait a minimum of 100 |
|
|
| milliseconds before trying again. |
|
|
|
|
