Cleaning the 8500 Printer

To help ensure good performance and high-quality output, make sure the operating environment is clean and dust free.

Clean the 8500 printer regularly as described below. Before you begin, turn off the 8500 printer and unplug it.

●Wipe the covers, the paper tray area, and the paper tray with water and a damp, lint-free cloth. This eliminates dust build-up and prevents dirt from getting into the 8500 printer.

CAUTION: NEVER USE ABRASIVES OR HARSH CHEMICALS TO

CLEAN ANY PART OF THE 8500 PRINTER. DO NOT USE ALCOHOL CLEANING PADS TO CLEAN THE CABINET.

●Clean the area around and under the printer to prevent dirt from getting into the 8500 printer.
