Quick Start

If you want to start using your color printer right away, follow this quick start guide. If you are unsure of any of the procedures, refer to the detailed instructions on the following pages.

 

1.

Connect your PrimeraPro to your AppleTalk

 

Network or directly to the Printer port (not the

 

modem port) on your Macintosh.

 

2.

Install the FARGO driver.

 

3.

Use the Chooser to select the driver you have

 

just installed.

 

4.

Select Page Setup from the File menu to select

 

the appropriate printer setup choices. The print

 

quality should be set to 300 x 300 for most printing

 

applications.

 

5.

Select Print from the File menu to print your

 

document. Make Sure you select the Print: Now

 

option until you are familiar with the FARGO

 

Backgrounder (refer to Section 8 of this guide for

 

Backgrounder information).

B. Installing the

Installation

FARGO Driver

Insert the driver disk (disk #1 if driver is on

multiple disks) into the disk drive of your Macintosh. When the disk icon appears on your desktop, double-click on the disk icon to open the
